A Dove release for a Funeral or Memorial Service is one of the most loving and inspirational gifts to give to a loved one. It has been said that the releasing of a white dove helps to begin the grieving process and opens the doors to “letting go”.

In addition to flowers, a Dove release will live on in the memories of all who attend.

“Oh, that I had the wings of a dove; For I would fly away and be at rest” Psalms 55:6

Three white doves are released to ascend the service area. Moments later, a single white dove is released, representing the spirit of the loved one. Once released it joins the others representing the Father, Son and Holy Ghost and is lovingly escorted home.	A large flock of fourteen to thirteen white doves are released to ascend the service area. Moments later, a single white dove is released, representing the spirit of the loved one. Once released it joins the others representing the Angels coming to escort the loved one home.	Twenty-one white doves are released seven at a time from three beautifully decorated patriotic baskets, at the moment of your choosing. This can be done after taps, bagpipes, or the presentation of the flag. Please call for availability and for more details regarding this special release.

Special Note: “The Twenty One Dove Salute” is accompanied by “The Spirit” dove release, and is given as a gift from “Wings of Grace”. This is in honor of the tragic events of September 11^th, 2001 and all of our fallen Heroes. This package and gift is available for military and public service persons ONLY.

The Spiritual Flight Home

At the conclusion of a chapel or graveside service, white doves are released a short distance from the ceremony. The flock ascends into the air waiting for the single dove to join them. Moments later, a single white dove, representing the loved ones spirit, is then released. The single spirit dove joins the flock of awaiting angels and all together they depart over the horizon to begin their spiritual journey home.
